Serve as a liaison between RTI and company vendors (i.e., property management, IT vendor, office deliveries, benefits consultants, etc.).In conjunction with the Director of Human Resources, administer benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement programs, transit,and student loan repayment program.Identify and recommend Human Resources and Operations updates to related software, systems, and processes.Plan and execute special events such as open enrollment, company-wide meetings, employee recognition and engagement events, and holiday parties, etc.

Perform customer service functions by promptly answering employee requests and questions with a positive attitude refers more complex questions to the Director of Human Resources.Maintain Human Resources Information System and Applicant Tracking System records compile reports from databases as needed for data analysis and projections.Be responsible for completion, maintenance, and accuracy of all personnel files, including I-9's conducts audits to maintain compliance with applicable legal requirements.Communicate all employment changes to HRIS & Payroll directly through the system or manually, depending on the circumstance (process promotions, departures, and other staffing changes).Execute onboarding and offboarding process for staff and interns including, coordinate first week meetings and conduct new hire orientation, ensure completion of all required onboarding paperwork, schedule and conduct exit interviews as appropriate and provide summary feedback as necessary and coordinate retrieval of badge, computer, questions about final paycheck, etc.Manage the RTI internship program to ensure a quality learning experience for interns by working with managers on goals, creating learning materials, and operationalizing interactive programming.

Under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources and sometimes independently, the Human Resources and Operations Specialist will provide oversight and support to areas including management of the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding payroll processes benefits administration, including health, fringe benefits, and retirement plans HRIS and ATS administration and management as well as project management of HR initiatives and office management. We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and process-minded team player that is comfortable providing critical oversight and support to the Human Resources/Operations department.
